I like art, yoga, travelling, exploring, beaches, fields, forests
It's my dream to get some land in the tropics to grow all kinds of fruit and have a family.
My relationship status is currently..
I admire the following traits in others...
*anyone who loves nature and the outdoors
*simplicity, someone who doesn't take life too seriously
*someone who loves to laugh and have fun
I'm looking for a travelling companion who would like to go to warm climates with me.
I know my friends always grow cantaloupe and honeydews and watermelons but I think the watermelons grow much better in warmer climates, like Arizona and Texas. We get all different types of berries and apples, great fresh greens. The greenhouses produce pretty much anything, but then again you can do that up north also. It still is nice getting food that has picked within 24 hours and if you can go to the farms you can pick it fresh and there really is no comparison. I need to move to a warmer climate, were I can enjoy sunshine all year instead of just April thru September. I will just have to wait until I finish school and find a job somewhere warm. I'm patient I can wait. Are you in school or are you working? What kind of yoga do you enjoy, I have been doing Astanga for years, but have recently been introduced to Bikram. I have a one month unlimited pass that I've been using for a couple of weeks and I love it.
I did think the pink made it look a tad cute considering its message - "cozy" is another to describe it. Maybe some of the insensitive people thought that the contrast in tone was amusing...
Yeah, I just barely escaped the Swedish winter, which came late and made up for it with over a meter of snow in some places, delaying and cancelling flights left and right (I assume the climate is similar in Canada, but hopefully you didn't have to endure as absurd of a winter as we did in Sweden), and so, I'm in Costa Rica now, where I'll be until some time in august (at least; if possible, if practical, I'd like to stay and finish my university studies from here, or from another Central-American or South-American country).
For the time being, I'm renting a small property (with fruit trees!) from the husband of Marisa/Via (of 30B). Neither she nor her husband, Phillipe, are currently around, but I have Nadia (also of 30B) as a neighbor. I believe I've heard that Marisa wants to attract more and more 811:ers to this area, Ojochal, and it seems as if Nadia has already decided that she wants to settle here, so, so far, so good, in that regard.
I like it here, but I wonder if Costa Rica isn't a tad too hot and bright for a Scandinavian (and with such a water-rich diet, I easily turn into a puddle of water). Did/does the Canadian have any specific countries in mind?
Ah, the classic vegan message t-shirt. (: When/if I buy new clothes, I'll consider something pro-vegan, but I think I'd design my own print, since I find the commonly vended ones to be too judgmental (even if rightly so) of people, and not informative enough. I wonder, how do people react to such a shirt if/when you wear it in public?
